For bird lovers, geared up with Mountainview personal bird brochure and binoculars to identify any of over 300 bird species in the area. Watch nesting secretary birds, the graceful soaring of the black eagles, or eavesdrop on the conversations of the verbal Guinea fowl. Peacocks run adventurously around the lodge area where our guests are greeted with a parade of colourful feathers.

For our younger guests, they can enjoy a visit to our animal pen where the little goats playfully entertain themselves, and in the pond enclosure, kids can assist to feed the ducks and chick.

Mountainview Game Ranch boasts over 40 species of game. The presence of the giraffe, zebra, kudu, impala, nyala, white blesbuck, eland…..make game viewing an exciting experience whichever outdoor activity you choose.

While on the game-drive, either in our open air vehicle or venturing out on a quad bike. The animals are at ease at the diversity of water holes and ponds which have water all year round. Whether you choose to hike, bike or drive, you’ll witness some of the world’s richest natural environments.
